2 Hounds Design’s buckle dog collars are all made in the USA (in North Carolina). The designs are also fun and quirky. And each collar is made with a great attention to detail and solid construction. These are designed for larger dogs. And while they look pretty and delicate, they are really strong. And we have no fear that the buckles will break or not lock properly.  

The collar has a strong but soft webbing core. It is sewn using industrial-strength nylon thread and with top-of-the-line hardware, including welded d-rings. They are also made with molded nylon buckles which do not shatter when cold or melt when hot.

You can wash it in the washing machine by placing the collar in a mesh lingerie bag or pillow case and using the gentle cycle. Always air dry your collar.

We use these buckle dog collars when Dylan & Rainey have play dates as Dylan has been known to get himself caught in other dogs’ martingale collars. He also likes to drag Rainey around by the collar and Rainey doesn’t really enjoy that so much when wearing her martingale ones.
